Picture time
This picture was taken last weekend when we came home from Quanda’s tracking course. While I was emptying the car, Lukas quickly took his chance to sit in the driver seat and test my sunglasses.
Lukas is still moving to fast to take good pictures… I didn’t plan to take a close up, but I like this picture!
Last Wednesday Lukas went to daycare dressed up as Emil i Lönneberga. They had a masquerade run around the school with a water break and everything. Lukas came home with his first medal.
A perfect weekend
Finally I’ve got some time to write about last weekend!
Saturday it was time for the second part of Quanda’s tracking course. This time Lukas got to come along and the three of us spend a perfect morning in the woods. Lukas seemed to have lots of fun while playing with some older kids and he ate like a horse. After quickly eating almost all the food I brought, he continued with grilled sausage while Quanda was working the track.
Quanda had a hard time while working the track, but she kept on going until she found the deer hoof in the end. Great work once again!
On Sunday we went on the first family boat trip for this year and for the first time Lukas actually enjoyed being on the see. He was sitting in dad’s knee driving the boat and looking and pointing to lots of things we drove by. Now we looking forward to a great boat season!
The Rally-O training on Sunday evening went perfect! This time Quanda really seemed to want to work together with me and we had a really good time together! Good girl 
Tracking course

Today was the start of this years tracking course and Quanda did great as usual! I had to help her back on track on the dead-end part, but we didn’t encounter any other problems. I get impressed each time I see a dog really work the track… It’s amazing work! Quanda gets so focused, she didn’t even give up on the dead end. She didn’t know how to continue, but she continued to look for the track.
New for this year is that Quanda was much more relaxed during the waiting. It actually looked like she fell a sleep for a while
I took the possibility to practice some rally-o on a dirt road and I managed to get good contact with Quanda in spite of all the distractions around. She has changed so much the last year that it sometimes feels like it’s another dog!
