Artist of the week
Since his first drawing some months ago has Lukas been developing his artistic skills and he has now started painting as well. With this nice painting he’s been chosen as artist of the week at his daycare!
Taking a walk
Normally Lukas likes to walk, so today I tried to let him walk a bit while we were out with Quanda. Surprise!!! He didn’t want to walk side by side with the stroller… I actually had to park the stroller to get him going.
You’re maybe wondering why Lukas is sitting in the middle of the road? Quanda wandered of a bit while I was taking pictures of Lukas, so I told her to sit. At least somebody was listening to me, but this wasn’t what I had in mind
Picture time
Last weekend I took lots of photos to test the new camera lens and now I finally found some time to sort them. Here are some of them and more can be found in the gallery.
I think Lukas is on his way to daycare…
Playing outside in the sandbox is one of Lukas favorite activities.
New camera lens
Today I got a new camera lens to my Sony a200 camera. It’s a standard 50 mm lens, which I hope will give better results then the 18-70 mm lens I’ve been using up to now. Here are the first test pictures with the new lens.
Robin Hood

Construction
Lukas is helping his grandfather building the new terrace.
Eating strawberries
To bad the strawberries weren’t ready yet. Lukas really wanted those strawberries
Herbs and peppers – result
Remember I sowed some herbs and peppers during march? It didn’t go to well, but I got at least some chili and bell peppers. It still some time until I can harvest them. Let’s hope they survive.
