Tracking course 5
This weekend was the last time we went to the tracking course. This time we tested a night track without a gunshot and according to the tracking judge that followed us she did a great job. I’m just so proud of her!!!
So now we have to continue training ourselves. To start with I’ll need to find better routines since the last couple of times it didn’t go to well, but I got some great ideas from the others and they also gave me some ideas regarding Quanda’s gunshot problem.
I just feel a little bit sad that the course is already over, but some of us talked about meeting and training together. Let’s hope we can… Quanda just loves to go out in the woods and I think it’s great to do something completely different once and a while.

Picture time
Today was the last time we went to baby swim. I would have liked to continue, but unfortunately the coach is stopping with baby swim completely. So I guess we’ll have to try and continue swimming on our own.
I got the DVD with pictures from the course, so here are some taken in April and May.

Ölands djurpark
Yesterday we took at trip to the zoo together with a friend of us. Because of the rainy weather a number of animals didn’t show, but we had a nice time anyway.
Even Lukas seemed to enjoy himself looking and pointing at all the animals, but after lunch he fell asleep in his stroller.

Kalmar
Lukas and Quanda spend the weekend at Lukas’ grandparents and the two of us made a trip to Kalmar. We had a nice time and spend our time shopping and relaxing. Friday evening we had a superb pizza at Ernesto Ristorante Italiano and Saterday evening we had a great beef tenderloin at Stekhuset.

New haircut
Lukas has been to the hairdresser again. This time he got a completely new haircut and it gives him whole new look. He really starts to look like a big boy!
Taking a walk
Weather wasn’t that great today and I figured it would be to cold to crawl on the ground so instead we went for a walk.
Lukas soon figured out that the table wasn’t high enough for him to walk under but that didn’t stop him. He managed to slow down and carefully with his head bent down walk under it without problems.

Helping out
Yesterday Lukas helped us while we were assembling a small greenhouse. Somehow the parts ended up all over the driveway 
Tracking course 4

Yesterday Quanda’s training continued and once again she got a night track. The track seemed to be more complicated and she circled several times at the dead-end part, but she did get back on track.
This time we also fired a gunshot to test her reaction and it did throw her of quite a bit. It took some time before she started tracking again, but she managed to finish the track. Hopefully she gets used to gunshots during tracking since this is a part of the tracking tests we are training for.
